- Pastor

I’ve had the joy of serving as Pastor of Fletcher’s Chapel for just under a year now and my passion and prayer as pastor is that we might become vibrant, mission-minded disciples of Jesus not just in theory but in our real, actual lives. Rooted in the rich Christ-centered theology of John Wesley and guided by itspractical “method,” the Methodist church is where I encounter the Lord.

I share life with my wife, Grace, and our dog, Lucky. Though I grew up in Harrisburg, NC, and Grace in Denver, NC, Durham is the place we now call home. When I’m not at the church, you might find me walking with Grace and Lucky, fly-fishing on the Eno River, learning the banjo, or baking a loaf of sourdough.

Before Fletcher’s, I earned my M.Div. from Duke Divinity School and pastored a small rural congregation in Roxboro, NC. I’m thrilled to now be serving in Durham—a city where Grace and I feel deeply called to live, dwell, and learn to love our neighbors.
