I grew up in a musical family in Upstate New York and started playing piano when I was 4 yrs old and the organ when I was 12. My first church organist position was at a small Methodist Church in Tyrone, NY at the age of 14 and I played there until I graduated high school. After, I attended Mansfield University and graduated in Dec 1986 with a B.S. in Music Merchandising. During my college days, I was the organist at the Watkins Glen Presbyterian Church in Watkins Glen, NY.
I married my high school sweetheart, Richard Kendall, in August 1987. We moved to Durham, NC in September 1990, where we raised our two children, Adam & Allison Kendall. Until retirement, I worked in Insurance Accounting. I visited Fletcher’s Chapel in December 1998 and became the organist in February 1999. My family joined Fletcher’s Chapel Church in April 2000.
